Lost an inappropriate amount of money in Las Vegas last weekend. The following machines are pure evil: Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly, Jeopardy, and my new favorite, Monty Python & The Holy Grail (a nickel progressive, and no I am not making this up.)
Granted, I do play "real" games, like craps, where I actually won some of the money back. But sometimes you just don't want to think so much. So you start feeding $20s into video slots. Then you become obsessed with hitting the bonus. MUST GET A WHEEL. Bad, bad news.
At least the weather was nice.

Chef Tell
I spent Friday afternoon doing volunteer work at a school in Harlem. Gathering my things at the end of the day, I noticed a pile of old books and magazines, where I spotted this gem:
Chef Tell! The original celebrity chef. The inspiration for the Muppet's Swedish Chef. I showed off my find to co-workers, who of course had no idea who he was.
