The blockbuster trade of the decade is pretty much a done deal, sending Alfonso Soriano to the Texas Rangers for star shortstop Alex Rodriguez.
I'm excited to see how the season unfolds. Will A-Rod suck at third? Will Jeter get hurt, and risk losing the ss job to A-Rod? Will the Yankees let the championship slip away again - despite their fantasy team lineup?
With the Mess in rebuilding mode, I need something to root for. Like a complete Yankee meltdown, and the Red Sox clinching the AL East.
